The g-Force R1 radial made by BFGoodrich, is a racing tire designed specifically for racing level grip, steering response, and cornering power. These tires are made to be driven at high speeds and keep you in control throughout.
The tread of this tire is shaped in a semi-slick symmetric design. The recommendation for these tires is a little different than most tires of this caliber. Normally, you would want to do a little scuffing. Instead, initial heat cycling is recommended for consistent wear and tear over the life of the tire.
One of the cool things about these g-Force R1 tires is the internal structure of the tires. The manufacture has said that is made up of two steel belts that are reinforced by a spirally wrapped polyamide cord on top of a two-ply nylon cord carcass.
